Tel: 503.467.4621Environmental photojournalist Gary Braasch presents a compelling and inspiring view of the world today through his decades-long witness across the planet. He brings nature, science and our relationship to them into focus with brilliant color photographs made from pole to pole and from alpine peaks to tropical forests and coral reefs.
Braasch’s most popular program is based on his eight year photo documentation of climate change, “World View of Global Warming,” and his book Earth Under Fire: How Global Warming is Changing the World. He reports on his extraordinary journey to every continent to observe and document environmental changes resulting from the warming of our climate and actions being taken to reduce them. He also presents on biodiversity and important topics such as environmental policy, drawing on his experience photographing in forest, wetland and tundra. Please see here for complete information.
